For SensorStations transmitting over cellular, we offer the option to pre-pay data in blocks of $240 which will be added as a credit against future monthly bills.

Depending on the amount of data you use, we will automatically adjust the data tier you are billed for, so no need to worry about changing your data plan month-to-month.

It's pretty simple. Use less than 75 MB of data and you will pay $5/month + $0.20/MB; anything over 75 MB will be a flat fee of $20/month for up to 500 MB, and $0.10/MB for anything over 500 MB.

IMPORTANT!!!

• These pre-paid data amounts are based on $20/month and data usage up to but not exceeding 500 MB. If you use more than 500 MB per month, the overage will also be deducted from your total credit and your credit will therefore not cover a full 12-months. We will issue you a bill for the difference once the credit runs out and you may then refresh your data credit.
• Your SensorStation ships from CTT with the SIM ACTIVATED. Once activated you will be responsible for the Sim Activation Fee of $5/month, regardless of whether your station is up and running. 

Also, SensorStations running 166MHz antennas will have higher data usage than 434MHz alone; this is simply due to the nature of the data being collected via the SDR dongles (Funcubes or RTL-SDR). Problematic dongles can also cause excessive noise and anomalous file sizes. While we make every attempt to estimate data charges, you are responsible for all the data that is transmitted and received.
