CTT Node™ Version 3.0 with dual frequencies (note: power source sold separately)
The new CTT Node 3.0 is the next evolution in radio telemetry, while providing consistency for those already using nodes in their research.
You spoke, and we listened.
While previous nodes worked incredibly well in areas where full sun was plentiful, having the solar panel directly atop the case has its limitations. The new V3 Node decouples the power supply from the Node itself, giving you more flexibility than ever. The main option, a new solar-rechargeable battery bank, quadruples the battery capacity of the V2 node, and gives you the freedom to mount the solar panel as near or far from your node, allowing you to maximize node grid symmetry while also optimizing your solar recharging abilities.
More than one frequency.
The CTT Node 3.0 is bilingual, outfitted with both a 434MHz radio, and a 2.4GHz BlūReceiver radio, making it capable of detecting the full suite of CTT tags. Now you can study thrashers and hummingbirds, or monarch butterflies and tortoises, all on the same grid!
We're just getting started.
We know many of our clients have existing node grids, so the new CTT Node 3.0 will be loaded with firmware that makes it 100% compatible with existing deployments. But we won't stop there. Over the next year we will be rolling out new firmware that will take the CTT Node 3.0 network to new heights, and usher in a new age of localization analytics and features; it wouldn't be an evolution otherwise, would it?
